Charity

Our charity work has developed as a beautiful and blessed consequence of our media and mission work.

We realized that the Christians we meet are often involved in charity work and decided to support their projects through our organization.

We have met a variety of people in different countries. It is why our charity work is involved in a wide range of areas such as the protection and education of children, assistance to people with disabilities, or development aid projects.
At Good News, we are privileged to know the people running the charities and are sure they are trustful and accountable. We are in a good position to follow the progress of their work to assess how we can best help them.

Orphanage

We support our guest Wilson Bugembe's orphanage in Uganda. Mercy Child Care orphanage is involved in the protection of the children. They take care of 300 orphans and offer medical care to 500 people a month in their facility. We also support Pastor Leonard's orphanage in Burundi. They take care of 64 children and provide for them with housing, food, clothes, and medical care.

Both orphanages need infrastructure support for public-benefit purpose organizations, as they are building dormitories for the children in Uganda and a training center in Burundi.

School

Education and training are at the center of our guests' projects.
We support Wilson Bugembe's school for orphans in Uganda.
In Burundi, we support Pastor Leonard's orphanage providing education to the children until they're 18 years old, allowing them to become autonomous when they leave the orphanage.
Another of our guests, Benjamin Pascal is the director of a Christian elementary school in Pakistan that we would like to support in the future.

Blind people

Benjamin Pascal is a blind worship leader and school director in Pakistan. He is involved in the assistance of people with disabilities. We are supporting his Christmas and Easter events for the blind people in which they offer meals, money and goods to support the blind people's families.
In the future, we hope to support Benjamin's project to create a Christian school for blind children, as Christian believers are a minority in Pakistan and receive no support for this type of project.

Clothes and toys donation

Before our trips to Africa and Pakistan, we gather clothes and toys and pack as much as we can in our luggage.

We donate them to the children in Pakistan and orphanages in Uganda and Burundi. Relief of poverty is at the heart of our interests and we plan to extend this in the future by supporting food banks in Italy and Burundi.

Farming

We are involved in development aid and development cooperation projects. We support the "Jesus is Lord" orphanage in Burundi which assists 50 widows in agriculture and small business.

In the future, we would like to support our guest Vestine Anrison's farming project in Burundi. Her non-profit organization provides food for the hungry, pays fair wages to the workers and offers jobs to women and the elderly.

Christian faith advancement

The team members of Good News RY are involved as private persons in donations for religious advancement.

We donate for church building in Kampala and offer material, like a phone and a computer for church ministry in Uganda.
We support the Gospel First organization in Finland that organizes mission trips worldwide to preach the gospel.
We want to carry on with these donations through our organization, and develop them to the next level.
